Endowment Gift
Pat and Shelly, both proud Utah Valley University (UVU) alumni, were recently married. Their shared love for UVU had grown over the years through volunteering and staying connected to the university community. They wanted to ensure that UVU's programs, especially those that support students, would continue long into the future.
- Pat: "We appreciated UVU's work. As alumni, we hoped to register our commitment and support by making a gift that would last well into the future."
- Shelly: "A staff member at UVU asked us to consider establishing a named endowed scholarship fund. We learned that this type of fund creates a permanent source of financial support for students, helping them pursue their education for generations to come."
- Pat: "I liked that creating an endowed scholarship fund would help UVU continue supporting students year after year."
- Shelly: "I also felt that the gift would provide a legacy for us. As UVU alumni, we were both deeply grateful for the opportunity to support future Wolverines, not just today, but for generations to come. Its incredibly meaningful to know our scholarship will continue making a difference long after we're gone."
Thanks to donors like Pat and Shelly, Utah Valley University (UVU) is able to provide life-changing opportunities to students who might not otherwise have access to higher education. When you establish a named endowed scholarship, or donate to an existing endowed scholarship fund, your gift is preserved in perpetuity and creates a lasting, meaningful impact for generations of future Wolverines. Please contact UVU's gift planning office to learn how you can create your legacy through a named endowed scholarship fund.
